Nice! I'm also a bit of a 'real' mini fan. Got 2 at the moment, one is a '93 Sprite 1275 auto that is my donor car for my full but n bolt restoration on my '78 Van that I finally got off my dad after 15 years of asking to buy it off him. He's owned it for the 18 years prior to me n he bought it from Jonspeed Racing. Just waiting on it going away to be dipped then I can weld any bits up n then dip again n e-coat it ready for paint and rebuild :)

Glad to see another one on this forum tho!

Having said that, I can't imagine an island-wide speed limit of 30mph being too much fun.

    :smiley: hey nice1 mate, good luck with your rebuild.  yer we have our own club over here  for all classic mini fans, hey you never know maybe you can bing your mini over and hook up with the guys here sometime . the van sounds lovely. :happy2:

   lol,, 40mph here  :smiley: though the roads are so perfect here for the small mini, and for the golf 1 hour to france then on to germany  nice motor ways   talking of which  im off  there in august, should be fun. :jumpmove:
