Wind+drivers door=
« on: February 01, 2013, 07:55:29 am »
Yup with the 400mph winds we've been having as late( ok slightly over egged!) any way.it caught my drivers door :-(
It's not done any panel damage but!! When I shut it it doesn't come to a flush fitting anymore there's about a 5/7mm gap around the whole leading edge  I wonder if there's a quick cheap fix or if it now buggered?
Cheers in advance
dpf out! Stage 2 remap.... Now it's gam'on!

Hi mate, sorry to hear that.  :sad1:

If it was me I'd take it down to an insurance bodyshop for assessment.

If the hinges are sprained and things are out of alignment you could be doing more damage each time you open and close the door.

Hopefully it's done no major damage.

Not sure if you can claim on your insurance for wind damage???

Defo wouldn't want to claim thru insurance maybe I should get it looked at,just didn't know if anyone had had it happen to them? And they'd managed to sort it?
