Maas Air Flow sensor (MAF)
« on: February 15, 2013, 10:06:26 am »
I'm trying to sort a new MAF for my edition 30. VW want £138 inc vat with no exchange - they don't do the exchange scheme apparently. I thought I'd try direct from Bosch, but they can't cross reference the part number to one of theirs.

They part number off my MAF is 06E 906 461A. According to VW any vehicle with engine code BYD uses he same part.

Any suggestions?

I think the number is 06F 906 461A.
What symptoms are you having to suggest a maf issue?

Over oiled filter can potentially coat the maf with a film of oil and it then gives erratic readings.
