help needed...rear brake light flickering when lights are on.
« on: November 23, 2008, 01:34:38 am »
Hi all,

hope you can help.

I have recently fitted new led side lights to the headlights, these obviously didnt work so i fitted some reccomended resistors to them.

since then they have worked perfectly and I no-longer have a warning light on the dash. However i now constantly (when the headlights are switched on) have the rear top break light flickering. When it flickers it is olnly dim....but it looks weird.
I wish to keep the led side lights as i have hids and normal side lights look stupid with them.

Any ideas?

I think you may get a better audience for this if you post it in the Mk5 General Area.

What ohm resisitor did you get? 10k ohm will provide roughly 25 amps which is what you'll need
