Air Con Compressors - how much?

Glad to see yours is sorted, Luke.  I'd love to see the bill your dealer sends to VW!

I still haven't had mine looked at yet, but I did find new compressors for £250-400, that was with an hours worth of research.  Stupidly, I didn't save it but I'm sure Euro Car Parts was pretty cheap!  Their site is down so I can't confirm this!

The new item is a Valeo on my car if that helps you find one.

I had my failed compressor replaced a couple of weeks ago.

Quoted about £1100 by a VW dealer but alas no VW warranty so I had it done at Highams Park Motors in East London.

They obtained the replacement from Euro Car Parts and it was about £350. Total job, just over £500.

I found a cheaper one here though
