RF's Tornado Red ED30 :)

Hi guys, though i'd start a thread to record my progress in the car as time goes on. Picked it up on wednesday and i'm over the moon with it! Loving the power compared to my old 120d.

Planning a few mods to it:
stage 1 map
cruise
rns 510
msfw
pescara wheels! (needed ASAP!)
LEdD bulbs

Anyway, enough babbling, here's some pics after a good clean, polish and wax today :)

Might be worth putting a thread in the for sale section here for a bigger audience .. They will get snapped up at the right price as they're Genuine ones by the looks of them.

Great thanks. I'm going to take them off tomorrow to give them a good clean i think (cos i'm a freak like that ha ha) and i'll look for VW stamps.

How can you tell they are genuine just by looking at the pics?

Yeah, will get an add sorted out soon with the wheels :)

Your Eddy looks shweeeeet fella! Correct colour and correct amount of door too. I'm with Steve, Red/Black combo FTW.

If you really don't like your Detriots I'll take them off your hands FOC, can't be any fairer than that!  Seriously though, you will have no problem selling them. I'm half tempted to swap my winter wheels for these ones but my wife hates (and unfortunately i mean HATES) black wheels and SHMBO must be obeyed!! :laugh:

I've had a couple sets and still own a set, those are genuine.. When you take them off, there will be a vw stamp embossed on the inside of the alloy  :wink:

I've been here many years so have learnt alot from these 4 walls  :happy2:

Made the phonecall to VW customer services to get my build plaque sent out. No.2050, so must be one of the last - limited edition my arse! Anyways, got it fitted in the place VW recommend this afternoon



Also, attended the charity rolling road day at Ecotune today for CLIC Sergent- all money generated going to the charity! Car gave out standard power, which i'm really happy with. Shame i got caught speeding on the way back. Raging! Been so so careful as well, cops were waiting right in a junction where a 40 changes to a 60, unfortunately, i had accelerated to 60 just before the sign. Just hate the way you are treated as if you have committed murder or something.



Need to sort out some LED numberplate bulbs, the ones that i had arent canbus friendly. Also, wheels hopefully in the next month.
