Remap or ed30

Can't decide what to do currently have the car looking how I want it r32 rear &skirts recaro seats but would like more power do I stage 1 r-tech or. Sell up and go for a edition 30?

Is "Modding" not something the owner gets pleasure in doing themselves ? I believe it is all about deciding what you want to do and then as you do them mods you see what you have achieved ? To buy a ready modded car would be a bit like being taken to the top of Mount Everest by helicopter rather than doing the whole trek to get there ?

True,but i'm sure as long as the buyer save's himself the hassle and the expense of doing all the work himself then why not,i'm sure it's the same as looking for a car with all the factory fitted extra's for the same sort of price as buying one with less,I know I would take a lot more time in buying my next car as to make sure it come's with everything I would want! :smiley:

If your just after more power, get it mapped. It's either £2k+ for a swap to an ed30 or £300 for a remap. . .

If you can live without the colour coding then stick with your GTI.

Ben Nevis maybe, but I will take the chopper to  the top of Everest please.  :signLOL:
