I spoke to Martin @ Reyland last week about these AP kits funnily enough

The ones @£1300 use their own brand rotors which are not directional and therefore could run into heat issues if pushed hard on track, I'd go the extra and pay the £1600 for the AP rotor'd kit personally  :happy2:

At that price that's not far off the actual AP kit !
£1750, I've also seen them for £1650 with the discount,

I don't know how much of a differance directional rotors would make, but it makes the kit cheaper to start with and next time round you could upgrade to the AP rotors if the own brand ones don't cut the mustard.

At that price it's more expensive than the full official AP kit if you shop at the right place

I'm sure the Reyland rotors will be fine, but in light of the fact that the RS3/TTRs brake setup Achilles hell is the oem non directional rotors and the fact your spending big ££s even with the lower spec kit I'd want to do it properly first time round

If you look on the bay just now he is doing the monster bbk for 1200 I think as an intro offer for the first 5 kits ?

I though Ap stopped selling that kit for £1500 squid a couple of years ago ?
Where about did you see it about for that money ?

I ran directioal rotors on the wrong side of my last mk5 gti with no problems 2 offside were supplied - and the new owner is still running them on track days with no problems. I think it was lucky GTI that bought my AP kit, all though I'm not sure if the fact they were directional in first place helps the cooling even on the one that's fitted on the wrong side.

Dawain bought my old kit?
