Soon to be tweaked with a nice exhaust, a map, some springs or coilovers and some better brakes

So it needs to sound better, go faster, handle better and stop better, but apart from that...

I really can't any find any fault with the car.

Brakes and other shiny bits

Prices have gone up a fair bit, the previous generation brake upgrade was £900. You'll get a fair bit off at a friendly dealer, or try www.bmminiparts.com

the new 3-Series is very nice. BMW styling is so hit and miss. I wasn't a fan of the old 3- or 5-er but the new ones are lovely. I loved the old 1- and 6-er but hate the new ones...
