Difference

Had all the gearbox stuff done along with clutch, DMF etc etc. what a difference  it shifts!!! Next is full service at vw Thursday so may be even better after that...... I have noticed that the mpg is allot better on the display and its seems to reset itself when car is parked for a couple of hours, its defiantly the average not the other one I'm looking at. This may well be the norm which is fine but why has it changed by changing DMF/clutch and gear refurb????

As far as ive noticed the mpg has 1 and 2 which you change with the button underneath. Mode 2 average is constant where as mode 1 average resets each time. Does in mine anyway, ive only had the car 1 month so could be wrong :)

That's correct  I thought the same when I first got my GTI 2 years ago until I realised it has two memories, this is the same story on a couple of the other displays as well, possibly average speed and maybe another

Yeah they all reset on trip one as far as i can see
