Nope, I tried it twice just to be sure... Hit it with some fresh grease and it popped all the way up, tried it another 2 times after just to make sure...  :congrats:
If it's not broke, Mod it.....

cool, hopefully with the correct grease we all get the bl**dy thing working,
i am reluctant to put any old grease in there as all i have is copper grease, so as eddie says i have ordered some lithium white grease as that is what was in the old one.
i cant beleive i took the old strut off, seen the grease in it and didnt think the new strut needed any  :stupid:
hope this solves it lol

I didn't put grease on mine either but didn't think that would make much difference.

My bump stops did stop turning in both directions with the allen key. Currently mine are at the lowest setting. I think I will bring them out 1-2 clicks to see if that helps.
hmmm thinking i might have dodgy bumps, do you know if the part number is the same as mine which is posted in the opening comment ?
thanks

My bumps end in C rather than D, not sure if that would make a difference or not...

Hey guys and girls, I just greased both ends and both sides of the dampers and pins; it works everytime now (on the flat), much, much better! :happy2:

Sounds good. But the real test will be once you have left it closed over night then try it the next day.
