Will i need spacers?
« on: February 04, 2013, 05:22:15 pm »
Hey guys, just wanting to pick some brains

I have just got myself a set of Monza 2s so i need to know if i will need any spacers before fitting them to the car?

The wheels i have on now are 195 width and obviously the Monzas are 225, so will that 30mm extra cause rubbing without spacers?

any help appreciated

Monza 2s should fit fine on a mk5 golf without needing spacers.
Without traction power is nothing!

You're only adding 15mm per side on your original tyres, unless your running a lowered setup you should be fine!

Spacers would only increase the chance of rubbing.  :chicken:
