MK6 GTI calipers fit MK5 GTI?

As the title really, are these interchangeable?  Be great if so, as I'll be able to find a much lower mileage set from a MK6 than MK5. Thank you. :happy2:

Are you talking fronts or back?
I got some rears last year and either they were updated very late 2010 on all models or the ones I have are off an ED35 (now made by Bosch) and they are a totally different set up, the calipers and carriers bolt straight on but you'll need completely new hoses as they enter the caliper in the top and no longer use the rigid piece of pipe. The fronts are the same IIRC.

Just the fronts mate, but good to know about the rears, cheers.

I was considering the NQS BBK, but once everything is bought it would cost me at least an extra £450.

Shame about the rears not being suitable, as I was looking at doing these at some point too.

Ah ok.

I'm currently collecting all the bits for the NQSBBK and it does all add up. But will be glad i'm sure especially as I'm getting mine remapped on Friday.

They do fit pal but you just need the right pipes, I had to get someone at VW to look at an ED35 as the parts were not on ETKA yet as they were so new and aftermarket pipes were not available yet. The ones I have have got a much larger piston and have improved braking massively so turned out to be a nice little mod, especially as I only paid £100 for them (They are nice and red and shiny too).

I'm jealous already, wanted a NQS BBK but just couldn't justify it at the moment, saving for hols and all that.  I'm sure you won't be dissappointed going by everyones reaction to them. :happy2:

That's interesting about the bigger piston on the rear of the MK6 ones, I wonder if the fronts have a bigger piston too... just ordered some very low mile ones with pads for about the same; be happy to know they are sorted. :happy2:
