fitting armrest with ipod dock to a RCD300+parrot kit

Hi,
So the car came with no armrest, which i miss from my mk4, so might as well look into an ipod dock as well.
If i got something like
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-GOLF-MK5-ARMREST-INC-IPOD-DOCK-AND-CENTRE-CONSOLE-CUPHOLDER-AIR-VENTS-PIPE-/150987456016?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Car+Make%3AVW%7CModel%3AGolf%7CPlat_Gen%3AMK+V&hash=item23278dbe10
is this the loom i would need
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/mk5-golf-armrest-mk6-golf-vw-cd-changer-ipod-dock-loom-1-8m-quadlock-/121053480597?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1c2f598695
would the parrot kit be plugged into connector5?
would the new loom plug into connector4 on back of RCD300 mp3? (is that a quad-lock?)
would it just play analogue signal in, ie no track names etc?
by pressing cd button twice?
would it charge the ipod touch?
sorry so many questions, but this is all new to me.

that armrest is missing the hand brake slider £30 and a plastic cover on the cup holder £10
the loom is the correct loom , it will display limited info. track number not name.

thanx for replies.
So with the head unit out, can the loom just be pocked thro the centre consul and out the handbrake end, or does the gearstick gaiter & front section with drinks holder have to be removed?
