Drivers door handle Mirror switch removal
« on: February 07, 2013, 02:34:26 pm »
Is there a trick to this?
I've had the door handle off (using some bojos), whipped out the window switch easy... but the mirror switch came apart, essentially dropping a section out from the inside, but the joystick and mount still remains... other than being overly forceful, is there a trick to doing this.  Feel a bit silly, as I've done lots of stuff like this in the past.

I broke mine last weekend when changing to chrome tip one.

I think one end comes out slight before the other if that makes sense, Rather than it all coning out in one go.
But it comes out easy enough when it wants to lol.

Cheers guys, yeah the others we're easy.
I do have a new handle on its way, as the old one was foobared by a previous owner, so not a biggy - just don't like breaking things if I can help it.
