Hi Newbie With Another Jetta
« on: February 06, 2013, 10:16:26 pm »
Hi all been watching in the shadows for sometime, finally thought I should sign up and introduce myself..

I'm Andy from Newmarket and have owned my current car for a year, in which time it's had a few subtle changes

It's a 2006 Jetta 2.0tdi Sport;

Mods so far...
Accuair E-Level air management
Airlift Slam Series bags
Polished tank and custom build (soon to be changed again)
Gti gearknob and surround
RNS510 (I think)
US spec front grill

Welcome!!!! Another Jetta owner. :happy2: Really liking the red. We'll have to change the forum name soon, hahahahahahaha.

I still think the Jetta is one of VW's best kept secrets, but then again I am very biased.

Cheers :jumpmove:

I thought this too when I got it but I'm seeing more and more being modded, just glad there's not many spicy red ones being tinkered with, or in the direction I'm heading

Loving the car Andy, you don't see many red Jetta's.
Are your wheels CH or CK's? I cant tell from them being black, they look lush. I am after Pescara's myself.

Ever considered fitting side skirts? I finally chased down the part numbers and got some fitted (having issues with the O/S though) VW ordered another yesterday.
If so Pg 6 on my thread

CHs, I'm looking at new wheels now.... Omanyts, edition 35s and Fat Fives

Thought bout side skirts but like how it sits without them, but that may change if I source a GLI rear section and GTI front splitter... :jumping:
