Stubbern Marks/stains - exterior
« on: April 02, 2013, 12:09:05 am »
Once you have pre-cleaned the car, snow foamed it and washed it with the two buckets method - you are still left with stubbern bits.

Clearly these need to go before you clar bar the car. You need a PERFECT smooth finish. It seems to do this you must use a solution, such as

- Citrus Pre Wash
- Iron X
- etc etc. etc.

What would you say are the top 2 or 3 products to use?

Tardis and Iron X. You will need both, as you are targetting different types of fallout.

Tardis for tar fallout and other petroleum based marks.

Iron x for iron filings and other small metal particles.

Plenty of threads about both. Just do a bit of research.

As above.

I would avoid using a "combined" product as they can often cause staining and what not.

Use an Iron fallout remover over the paint and allow to react and then rinse off.. then target any visible tar sports with tar remover. Then clay with plenty of clay lube. Easy.  :happy2:
