Hi everyone,

I have recently purchased a beautiful Black, 5 door Edition 30 with DSG and almost every single option available in the VW catalogue !

I've been lurking on the forum for a week or two and it has proved very useful.

I currently have no plans for performance modifications but I am considering an upgrade to a smarter audio/nav solution than the currently installed MFD2 (with IPOD armrest connection) - advice on the potential upgrade paths would be welcomed !

Pictures will follow when the weather improves.

All the best,

PP

Welcome great choice of car, best colour as well!

A lot of people go for the RNS 510 which is found in the mk6s and sciroccos.

A quick search should reveal the threads.

Where you based mate?

Where you based mate?

I am based in SW London.

I've not had a Golf since my very last company car, a brand new VR6 in 1996, before I took the leap to work for myself. I am very impressed with the Ed30 so far, even if it is only pootling around in this dismal weather !

I've taken a fancy to the VW Approved Kenwood Nav/DAB unit, it seems to have everything I need (Nav,phone etc....) I shall do my research.

All the best.
