New car advice
« on: February 11, 2013, 05:37:31 pm »
Hi guys im looking for some advice on a new car, my mk5 TDI gti replica is now on ebay and will be ending in a few days time so its new car time.

Thought I'd ask for advice on here as my next car is going to be a 2.0tfsi and where better to ask than here? :)

I've narrowed it down to 3 circa 2006 cars (dont have an amazing budget) which are:

Audi A3 2.0tfsi Quattro S Line
Mk5 GTI
Leon FR

There's a couple of reasons for wanting/not wanting each car so i new help on which other members would go for...

A3;

Pros:

4wd, still look new if i put the 09-12 front on

Cons:

A bit bland unless in S3 form, not a fan of interiors

Mk5 GTI

Pros:

Love mk5s and always have, a legendary car and IMO the best gti to date.

Cons: had a mk5 already, 2 newer models now available, i will always want it to be an ed30

Leon FR:

Pros:

Still pretty modern looking, different to the norm

Cons:

Pretty ugly front end, very plasticy interior and doesn't stand out like a Golf or Audi does

They're my pros and cons for wanting each car, hoping
Someone on here could advise me on what to go for without being biased towards the mk5 :)

No bias, but the GTI is the best car there. Fact.

Gti, for me the best drivers car with the best interior, yea you might always want it to be an edition 30 but would you not want the leon to be a cupra ? Or the Audi to be the s3 ?

I've had both the gti and edition 30 and 98% of the fun is there with the Gti anyway

MK5 EDITION 30 - CW - REVO S2+ - GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN

MK7 GTI - ARRIVING DECEMBER

MK2 GTI - RB - 1.8T - GARAGE QUEEN
