iPod experts?
« on: February 11, 2013, 03:50:58 pm »
My son wants an iPhone 4S so wifey has been through the kids bedrooms like a whirlwind looking at stuff they can sell to raise funds as they're always buying gadgets and not using them.
So far we have found three iPods in their drawers that have probably almost never been used.

The thing is I've checked ebay and there are so many generations of them I can't fathom what's what as they all look so similar.
I've pumped the model numbers on the box into the Apple website search and it comes up with nothing!

As these things are useful for plugging into an RNS or the like there are bound to be hip young iPod experts on here!!

One's a nano 4gb with a model number of MA978ZO/A
and two 1gb Shuffles with model number MB8229ZO/A

Any idea what generation these are so I can hit ebay with them?!!

Thanks  :happy2:

The only problem with iPods that spend an extended time unused is that the batteries are next to useless. They seem to deteriorate very quickly unless they are used regularly.

D'oh!  :ashamed: Couldn't see the pics properly until I'd logged out and back in again on the phone. Can see them much better on a desktop!

Thanks all!!  :happy2:
