I think some sort of "meets" section would also be cool.
The main reason for me not suggesting / posting meets in the Golf GTI forum was because I did not really want other MK's to come along (with all due respect). I mean it in terms of I would have more things in common with MK5 owners, and could share more tips/knowledge with them.
Plus the photo opportunities with all MKV's will look stunning - similar to what was done at the recent JKM RR day! :smiley:

....Also, there's no benefit (and probably the contrary) in setting up a general GTI site which is too similar to where most of us have come from. We had the same consideration in forming Biali Motorsport and coming from Tyresmoke. Besides, the 'other' GTI site is still a very good one imo.

I love the other site and i often posted in other sections, its just human nature to want to be around others with similar interests. :fighting2:

Yep the aim of this site isn't to to compete/replace the other site but to provide just a more focussed/dedicated MK5 forum. Like RedRobin said the other one is a very good general GTI site.
