Wobble mirror and tad lumpy
« on: February 18, 2013, 11:20:45 pm »
Got in the car this morning pulled off up the hill and noticed passenger mirror flooping about  :scared: had a look and couldn't see or feel anything particular loose to effect of the way it was moving. Any ideas, any known problems to look for?

Car feels a tad lumpy on tick over sometimes, car feel it through seat. Just had full service inc fuel filter etc so again any issues I could look for?

Is it the glass that seems to wobble or the door mirror body. If the former check the glass hasn't started to detach from the backing plate if it has get your trusty hot glue gun

^^^This is most likely your problem. Quite a common issue.

If the glass mirror has started to come away, carefully help it off and reattach with the aforementioned glue gun. If you want to remove the mirror casing, it might be easier as you can take everything apart then and go from there, there is a how to on here...
