iPod connect to factory armrest changer.
« on: February 06, 2013, 09:15:47 am »
Alright peeps..

When I bought my GTI the guy informed me that he had unplugged the factor 6 disc changer in the armrest to plug in an iPod cable that's located in the glovebox..

I wanting to unplug this and plug the changer back in..

Is this as straight forward as removing the glovebox and unplugging the iPod cable and plugging the changer back in or does the headunit need to come out?

Thanks, Craig.

hi craig

it is that simple, you will have the quad lock connection from the iPod lead in the space on the loom-head unit plug. pop it out and swap over. drop me a pm if you have any problems
