I've not used those, but I bet the Kent ones I've got aren't too much different:

They've been very good; so much so, I have 3 now.

Also grabbed one of these recently...it takes the majority of the water off before using the drying towel:

Be very careful with those blades. If anything gets stuck between the blade and paint work... :fighting: I see the £5 wash lads use these near me, quick wipe on the jeans and then over the car  :scared:

this might have been better suited in the Detailing section mate. for drying my car i use Demon Shine then blow all off with a leaf blower. works remarkably well

It was just a general 'what do you make of this'. Never thought about using a leaf blower  :rolleye:

I use Waffle clothes for "patting" dry the car. Just got a couple of new ones, they're very VERY good (but not cheap).

I started using the ASDA ones last year.  £4 for 2  Not the best quality but does the job and survives the washing machine

The soft blades shouldn't cause any issues, as you should have washed the car properly, thus zero dirt on the car. ;)

I've got a few of those towels. One side is fluffier for heavy soaking then the reverse is for a second wipe removal.

I tend to sheet the water off the car which means very little gets left behind. Don't get on with plush drying towels as they seem to smear water everywhere or leave tiny fibres behind. Hence now use waffle weave towels.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

I use the kent extra large microfibre towels as well. Nice and cheap and two of them is just right for a good clean finish. Also won a car magazine group test for drying cloths.
