Soot chucker tuning
« on: February 17, 2013, 12:08:36 pm »
I currently have  1.9tdi pd105, this has been remapped, egr delete and decatted by darkside developments

Im wondering has anyone gone for a bigger turbo? Ive been looking at the q7/a8 3.0tdi turbo

Has anyone ever modified this turbo to fit? Does it give more lag or does it spool up pretty fast?

I know of 1 on the skoda forum that's fitted that turbo to a Fabia VRs with ridiculous amounts of power (300bhp+) maybe best having a look on their - I'm sure his name is Devonutopia

GTB2260VK is the turbo

Darkside have built a few cars with these on now but never a PD105, dont think the engine can take it tbh

Youd be better starting off with a PD140

They say they can fit the gtb22 turbo to my 105 with no issues for 1500+700 for injectors so with clutch and fitting around  £2700?

I can fit all the lot inc clutch with a 3.0tdi turbo for around £1000 ish im thinking, im just wondering whos fitted it really
