Just recieved SteveP's cage out of his old mk5 track car

dont know how amazing these half cages are for safety.. but it will serve some well needed purpose's!

1. I can mount the harnesses properly
2. I could do with some weight put back in the rear of the car to balance it out
3. Stiffen the rear up
4. Looks sick
5. Good place to mount a gopro

Ive called off having the inside sprayed for another week now as some welding needs to be done in order to fit the cage first

Will be getting powder coated.. but havent decided what colour yet.. im having the inside sprayed red and have been thinking about doing the cage white with red harnesses as theres some white trim on the seats and white gauges etc and i will lose the bits of yellow on the outside.. change the yellow decals for white ones etc? or do the cage red aswell, any other suggestions?
