Phoned R-Tech and they said that they would do it but if I put a hybrid turbo on they will not touch my car, this is because it will take to long to setup.

Another place that maybe able to help me??

So do you have a hybrid fitted or not? If you do then AMD mapped mine without any issues. ;)

R-Tech have seen reliability issues with Hybrid turbos so don't like to touch them these days  :sad1:

Is hybrid definitely the way you want to go? Bare in mind you will need a new clutch, intercooler, intake, exhaust, possibly injectors. . .

I am looking in to following this project as it is how i want mine to run  :happy2: :happy2:

hybird only needs a new intercooler and exhaust! The standard clutch will take 250 bhp ish, I would never put an intake on a diesel as you lose BHP, injectors would be put in after a big turbo kit not a hybrid

I'd be impressed if the clutch can handle the torque for a long period of time. Every turbo car i've ever mapped has had the clutch slip. My mates mk4 TDI slips like a b1tch with a hybrid  :sad1:

I'd 2nd this!!!

One of my mates with a hybrid was running a standard clutch and his was slipping in 5th gear!!!  :scared: (And this was before he'd had it custom mapped) He ended up with a Sach racing clutch.

The Mk4 clutch isn't as robust as the MK5's.  The mk4 clutch slips with just a standard remap!

Depends on the engine, I cant comment on the PD170's but the PD140's dont need injectors or intercooler. You will however most likely require a clutch and you should already have the exhaust and panel filter fitted by that point.

One other thing to remember is that you should have better brakes fitted at that point also.
