Not sure if this is in the right section

Hi All

So i've taken part in the recent group buy for the boot popper kits (have to say very well organised, thanks chrisr763!) and realised that I have a really good link with someone that works for TPS, and have access to some good discounts on GENUINE VW parts.

Rather than keep these to myself, i'd like to pass on some savings to the community and would like to organise a group buy.

Now I know there is currently a group buy for the RVC going on, but i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for another group buy on genuine VW parts? I think if we collate a list and see whats popular, I can then go about getting prices from TPS on a quantity of items.

An example of savings:
The Genuine front GTI Grille (1k0 853 651 E VW8) retails at £118.93+vat...I have been offered this part for £87+vat
Front Foglight for GTI (1T0 941 699/700 D) retails at £48+vat, I can get this for £38+ vat

the discount varies depending on the item (some command a better discount, some only get 10%)

Over to you...lets get a list of the most popular group buy and see what we can save on them!


Ill track the suggestions here and then we'll see which has a significant number of interested people.

out of curiousity what is the best you can do on RVC kit as the one that is up is a non genuine kit??

I enquired about this yesterday...i didn't have all part numbers to do a fair comparison, so just used the main badge/camera (no wiring etc)

the camera itself came to something like £250+vat ( not exactly sure!)

Can someone assemble me a parts list for the complete kit and i'll get a complete price
