yes you can check this out

i read your link twice but i got lost on the technical part,,, looks way beyond my skill set.
I have a 2008 model, am i right in thinking i cant just code it through vcds ?
excuse my noobish skill set  :ashamed:

OK to sum it up.

you obviously need folding mirrors to begin with

you replace the module in your drivers door with a specific one from a SEAT

if your car is 5 door the rear lock module also probably needs changing

if your car is 3 door the limits of up down on the glass wont work correctly hence you add the bit of metal inside the door

once coded to your car all will work as follows

get out of car press and hold lock button until the mirrors fold (it sends signal to passenger side) and or the windows are up (you can code this for 1 touch)

once back in the car turn on ignition wait 1-2 seconds for mirrors to unfold (vital if you want it to work every time) then start car.

the mirror switch can over ride this function at anytime
Loads of extra's and retro fits.

yeah exactly what i was thinking, its not as if they fold in correctly anyway.
If it was just a check box on vcds then yeah but to much hassle  :happy2:

Just to come back to the 2 comments above that's what Modding is all about, I would hardly say it's a hassle depending on your skill, but even so its cool to have this feature....

no i agree it is cool to have but if it means installing new hardware etc then it makes it a bit of a job if you cant install the parts yourself, if you have the exp to try it then it would be worth doing.  :happy2:
