yup. always. but the headlight washers work every after 5 blasts to windscreen don't it, regardless of where switch is positioned?? that's how its always been anyway (so i knew it was working)

bigbo:
mine seems to have packed up to, ive cleaned the jets out but i cant hear my pump working so im guessing thats failed. is this easy to replace myself?

clive_gti:
Mine stopped working but it was a blown fuse.. apparently its not uncommon for that one to go.  Double check that's not the issue, i'll try to dig up the thread which shows which fuse to check.
