The fact that you like disagreeing with anyone helps too.

The 2x white GTi's link at the bottom of the GTD story got my attention.

Like the red GTD though, I had followed a demo graphic'd up from the dealers boggo TDi in silver the other day, (had to swerve in behind it to check it was a 7..) and in my view it looked really poor and pretty bland. So guess for me it must have to have the visual adds ons that the GTD/GTi and presumably R will get.

White Ed40 ahead for me I think..if it's not too far up in the stratosphere of dosh..

Like the front view... like the side view.... but they rear end is so drab!

Quick remap and it should be over 200bhp and Stage 1 Edition 30 torque levels.  :driver:

Like that a lot (with 3 doors it would look better tho)
But then i think the Mk7 is a better looking car than the Mk6 anyway.
Nice looking interior as well, looking more Passat like with the smoother centre dash sweeping down to the centre console.

It's also very near the top of our list for the ed30 replacement  :happy2:

Hopefully be needing a 4 door family wagon of some sort by the summer, either the GTi/GTd or the new Skoda Octavia Vrs looks very tempting indeed!

The GTI is certainly up there for the A6's replacement, once we stop needing the vast space.

I still want a Yeti. She won't have it.
Sideways yo!

Yeti is a pretty good all rounder to be fair. Shame they don't do a 2.0l TSI.

The price of this worries me a bit. There is a nicely spec'd 2.0TDI SE on the Trader for £30K, so this has for to be coming in close to £35k

The only Mk7 which is acually 100KG lighter than a Mk6 is the 1.4 TSI with Cylinder Deactivation , in the rest of the range the difference is much less.
