Noob Front Parking Light question
« on: February 25, 2013, 12:02:31 pm »
Hi

Hope someone can give me a steer in the right direction.

Started to get the 'Front right parking light' fault on my dash - and from checking the bulb doesn't work.

Couple quick questions:

1) Does anyone know what the replacement bulb type/name is?

2) How best to remove it? I've taken off the rubber cap to the front light fitting, but I can't get a good angle to view the bulb itself to see how it's held in. Does it need turning, clip to take off or just grab and pull?

Very many thanks for any/all assistance  :happy2:

Cheers
Richard.

The side light bulb will be a W5W (501), get your hand in the back of the light and with a slight twist the holder and bulb will come out. Push fit job to replace, then twist back in, sounds more complex than it is until yu get a feel for how they fit.
