looking for a carbon fibre vw front badge

No experience in the carbon wrapping area but i was wonderring if it is possible to get a carbon vw front and rear badge ?
I know there is some on e-bay carbon WRAPPED but i am thinking that due to the position on the car something that is just wrapped will get stone chipped in a matter of days exposing the chrome underneath.
Can you actually get a carbon version that is solid and not just wrapped in vinyl ?
Noob question i know but if i dont ask i wont learn,
I have also looked at OSIR but they dont advertise this sort of thing

am i right in thinking the cheaper carbon wrapped ones will stone chip fairly quickly in comparison to yours ?

RR got his carbon emblems from Charles at Carbon Dynamics in the US. Not cheap though...

Vinyl is actually quite strong, Its just getting it perfectly flat on a curved area such as the edges of the front badge & the centre bit where it dips  :laugh:

For those who didn't know, 'bacillus' is my Batman (a soldier assigned to a commissioned officer as a personal servant). That's why he knows even more than I do about my life  :laugh:

So, he is right - They came from a Group Buy in another forum. I think that I had a hand in organising it but my Batman bacillus will know.

I do remember that I was given this by Charles to say Thank You...................

Carbon vinyl is actually more durable than you might think. So it is a real alternative.
