Had a box refurb a month ago along with clutch and new DMF, noticed gearbox is stiff when cold, is this the norm?

my manual box is tight in the cold soon frees up due to the oil thickening with the low temp

Mines isn't tight as such when its cold but certainly feels 'notchy' compared to when it's warmed up..

Mine is on my scirocco, particularly dropping down from 6th to 5th or 5th to 4th. Was worried the syncormesh was buggered  :scared:

I dont seem to remember my mk5 being particularly stiff in the cold though
