good work...but have to say....Why??

Surely your reducing your rear visability ,especially in the wet?

Cheers guys.

Yes Steve would reduce visability, but I wash the rear window most times I use the car  :jumpmove: .

Did it on my mk4 also. Just tidies the rear end up I feel.

Got the APs fitted last weekend. Must say very pleased with them, had Weitecs on the mk4 and these are just as well made.

The ride on them is very good, think helps as I've not got them wound right down (yet). Got about 1' to go yet on them, happy as they are at the moment and will let them bed in for a bit. Got the four wheel alignment booked in for tomorrow.

Fitted some 15mm H&R spacers to the rear as well. Might get some 8 or 10s for the front as well.

Plus picked up a rev G dv and gasket and nuts ready to remove the pre cat next. Also sprayed my front badge in matching gloss black as the wheels.

Some quick pics of the parts:

Before spacers:

After:

Removed grill to take badge off:

Finally a few quick ones from last night:

Cheers

Looks great Si - to me that looks the stance the GTI should have had from the factory!
Still weighing up whether to fit spacers & a drop to mine... think your pics are now swaying things!

Nice work on the badge work - looks a great finish :happy2:

Cheers mate, think needs a little tweak here and there. Might get some 8mm spacers for the front and adjust the coils down a few mm. But happy for now. Would love some new wheels next year, can't decided on 18's or 19's yet tho..
