Good stuff man.

I'd imagine that new wheels and the votex splitter will transform the look of the car. Looking forward to seeing the outcome  :happy2:

Well had a busy one this weekend.

Been thinking about changing the wheels for a while, nothing wrong with Monzas, just a thing I have to do with all my cars change the wheels!

Not had much luck sourcing a set tho. Wasn't sure what I wanted, been texting the guy who bought my old Mk4 about buying the Fat fives back, but no joy.

Spend most days checking the forums and ebay, searching 5x112 etc. Then this Friday a set of Team Dynamic Pro Race 1.2s popped up....

Hmmm I thought I like those, now colour wouldn't be a first choice if buying new, anthracite (originally favoured black or silver more), but works well with the red so growing on me. Plus might, might get refurbed after winter as got these for a good price. Was all a bit of a manic few days, saw these on eBay Friday but had a week to run. Contacted seller and made a offer, he accepted! Bumped my ad for the Monzas, they then sold! All fell into place. My son and I took a 300mile round trip, picked TDs up, fitted them in the guys drive, then drove to meet Priyesh and drop the Monzas off.

Overall very pleased with them, only a few tiny marks. Two new tyres with be needed soon for them, but they are soooooo light to pick the wheels up!

Some poor phone pics until get decent camera out:

At present I have the stock vw bolts, but know I need the tapered ones, any reccomendations guys? Links to correct ones? Plus what length do I need? Planning on fitting VW centre caps also.

Plus picked up my splitter from the body shop, and spoke about some more bodywork I would like them to do for me... But need to save some money for that.

Splitter:

A good weekend all round, had fun on the road trip and really pleased with the outcome of the new additions, starting to feel a bit more like making my mark on this one  :happy2:

On my list. Spoke to my bodyshop guy about a few bits.

Rear offside arch, bonnet, smoothing sideskirts and rear bumper (smoothing bottom half at same time with exhaust surround section left black).
