Picked up some tinted InPro dark indicator lenses from Andy (berg) off here this week.

Fitted them last night, about hour and a bit for both sides. Bit fiddly but just took my time and made sure not to break any clips.

Gently prise off mirror lens, carefull not to break. Just adjust down to lowest setting then get your fingers behind it and pop it off. Un connect the heater elements.

Will then see the motor, 3 10torqs screws and this comes off. Then the fun part, gently prise the mirror caps off. I found wrapping a flat blade screw driver in cloth and leavering it off from the front helped. At the same time trying to release the tabs on top of the indicator lenses. Just takes some time but once tabs released the cover pulls straight up.

Then two 10torqs screws hold the black base on and the black mirror surround pulls off at same time, unconnect the indicator wire and all off:

Can then undo the final two 10torq screws that hold the indicator lens to the base.

Reffiting then reverse order:

Gave it all a clean inside whilst off:

Both back up and fitted:

Very pleased with the darker look on the red paint  :happy2:

Open fogs arrived from Thom (TRS88) today, cheers mate.

Also some 80mm ducking from RamAir for my induction:

Removed old covers and fitted new ones  :happy2:

Directed ducting to the filter:

Passenger side:

All done:

Also meet up with Martin tonight (MC71), top guy  :happy2:

I saw he had removed his heater dials and asked if he wanted to sell them, top guy gave them to me for free  :drinking:  :congrats:

Had a quick look round his E30, gorgeous car  :notworthy:

Dials:

2 seconds later, fitted  :happy2:

Hopefully meeting up with Martin once the sunshine arrives.... when will that be?!  :surprised:.... for some nice snaps of the two cars together

Nice work Si - the GT80 tips do look really good on the mk5. You'll love the sound - I was unsure about going non-res cat-back, but it is just how the car should have been from the factory.
Your build is coming on well  :happy2:

Cheers guys.

No worries Luke, they fit with a bit of persuasion  :happy2:

Yeah not sure yet if you go for the non res pipe or the centre box with the 3' decat. I had non res and decat on the mk4 and was happy with the sound.

I bought the grills off Thom from the classifieds on here. But can either get copies on ebay (but they don't come with the back duct) or from the dealers. But are £35 each from them!
