Well I couldn't wait till Friday!!  :signLOL:

Fitted last night:

Really pleased with fit etc. Took about an hour to swap, wanted to get done asap as sold my old bumper so that is being sent off this week. All the bolts can off ok, lower ones were a bit tough as open to the element. Will get some better pics up after a clean on Friday.

Think smoothed painted skirts and some R32 rears will help the look.

In other news I've owned the car a year this week!! Plus just rolled round to 95500, so 6000 miles and 12mths on, am I happy? Yes, love the car and now starting to make my mark on it very happy. Hopefully will be able to keep her as sold a few things and saved some £s

I've booked Friday off work, so weather permitting can give the car a clean. Saturday car booked into getting front tyres replaced with PS3s so matching all round then.

Si

Did a few bits with my day off yesterday.

Since swapping back to standard induction I ordered another Pipercross panel filter  :ashamed:

Gave the new rear bumper a going over with the machine polisher, much happier with it now. Also took the numberplate off as my OCD took hold and cleaned behind it to get rid of all old tape and marks.

Then jacked it up and took the rear wheels off. With all this terrible winter weather it needed some tlc in the arches:

Much better  :happy2:

Whilst the wheels were off, polished waxed insides and sealed them:

When the sunshine finally comes out for a few days I'll get some better pictures with the camera  :happy2:

Really pleased to hear you're keeping her Si. Some great updates - the ED30 valance looks great. No disrespect to any GTI owners, but the black plastic valance really dominates the rear of the car. It's just huge!

Your post makes me want to sort the arches on mine - its been a bad winter, so think I should do them before any more fettling (mods!) :happy2:

Thanks Dave  :happy2:

Worthwhile doing the arches, also taking the front liners off. A load of muck sits behind them.

Yes very pleased with the edition rear   Maybe some Edition/R32 rear lights next...
