Hi, I'm currently looking for a new intake for my 1.9tdi..
What ones best recommended, and Do forge do a diesel twintake?

If you are looking to get better power from your diesel I would recommend putting a panel filter in and not a intake!

Intakes look better but you lose power for the look and it is not about that!

The air box from the Ibiza FR160 seems to be a decent choice - with a panel filter  :happy2:

I'm running an ITG panel filter with a slightly modified standard airbox.

After all my intakes I fitted on my 1.9 pd I found it ran best with just the OE paper filter. Diesels dont need a lot of air like petrols and the standard air box will flow more than enough air for the engine. If you havent already Id put the money towards a remap.

I've already had it mapped to 160bhp..

They all are about the same really-i still have the oem paper one in mine running 211bhp

Its getting a few tweaks all free of charge at the mo  then in May getting the clutch and inter cooler done

I had Pipercross panel filter in my old mk4 PD100 mapped to 151bhp stage 2. As above don't need intakes matey.

Good remaps an a decat!  :happy2:

I've got an upgraded clutch ect..
These panel filters are cheap as well  :smiley:
I was looking at buying a miltek, but I'd rather spend money on visual ha

I put a K&N on mine and it runs better, i use to get turbo cut a lot but with a new filter and oil it now runs like a dream
