« on: March 02, 2013, 01:31:37 pm »
A few years ago we went to Le Mans and stayed in a nice shallay on a campsite, just contacted them to book now and there fully booked! My mates cant actually be any gayer for putting it off untill now. Anyway im wondering if anyone knows any decent camp sites with shallays or any information atall would be great. Getting very lost looking though google, very desperate, cheers

Try a company called Speed Chills.

I've used them for the last 8 years and they offer some great packages!  :happy2:

thanks mate, just had a look but the problem is we want to go for 7-10 days and make a bit of a holiday out of it and most of the le-mans related sites are just for 2-3 days camping

Ah, most of the Le Mans campsites open on the weds/thurs so you'd have to try and find a local french farmer who is renting out land. We have stayed in the Beasejour campsite close to the Porsche curves a few times.

The past couple times I went, we stayed on Houx, went early enough to get a power hook up  :happy2:

Try http://www.beermountain.com/ Plenty of good info, and I'm sure someone on there can point you in the right direction for camping.

As mentioned, use Speed Chills, Le Mans special.....

I usually go with the pistonheads lot, from my previous car days. Think we're doing a father and son thing this year, not sure if its for Le man or the classic though. Usually in Houx or Houx Annexe.
