Sony xperia Z release
« on: February 28, 2013, 06:33:48 pm »
eagerly antisipated  did anyone get one?

its billed to be the best one out there, am quite tempted by it but just wanted to wait for s4 launch,

the build quality of the xperia z looks insane compared to the plaggy s3.

I have ordered one,I currently have an iPhone but also have lots of Apple products in the house so fancied a change.
This seems to be the best at the moment probably until the S4 comes out.
Have managed to get unlimited internet usage so will be utilising my Sky Go when on the move  :happy2:

After an Xperia X10 and now a Xperia S, I love the Sony smartphones. Really well made, but this one moves the game on massively.

Quite some time before my upgrade though, so I'll probably miss this one.  :sad1:

My upgrade is due next week and I currently have a s3 which I love to bits. But I am feeling that change to this phone however I'm also interested to see what the new Samsung s4 will be like.

I tried an S3 recently, but on spite of the great screen I still can't get past the god awful OS. And the battery life was sh*t.

Colleague at work just got the Z. Will check it out tomorrow.

Don't think the s4 will differ in spec massively, had a go on the new htc one today, seems pretty awesome

I looked at pre ordering about a month ago, but got told I'd have to pay for it there and then. I walked.

I had a go with the sony the other day, they also showed me it playing video under water while wirelessly sending sound to a bluetooth speaker.  It is rather lovely and they've done a nice job of leaving jellybean alone as it feels very much like the pure version on my nexus 4.

Screen was lovely but blacks didn't seem amazing and viewing angles were pretty poor.

I'm holding out for the g4 before committing, I do love the amoled screens and after my experience with the worst piece of crap ever (the HTC One X) I'd never ever touch another HTC product!

It looks massive  :surprised:

In the water it looks like a tablet   but it is a 5" screen so only 0.2" bigger than the S3

It's a very nicely designed phone. Very heavy, really like it. Screen is very impressive with full HD. If only I could get on with Android. I really hope Apple steps up to the challenge offered by these great displays.

I am with Android for few years now, but got  myself IPhone 5 recently, just to play and resale. To be honest quite impressed with it. I will keep it for me for now until S4 rolls out.
Just like how stable is iOS
