I have the loom ending '2'

SOive got four cables that need to go to the fuse box...hmm..

So you have a module under each seat?
The four wires remaining, are they the four thick wires marked KL30 you mentioned earlier?

2 are for constant live (dauerplus) (fuse box)
2 are constant live (sitzverstell.) (seat adjustment)

I'll have a look properly when I get home, it's difficult to work out on the phone.

Hi Jas,

I'm not actually sure if there is a module under both seats.  I'll check when i get a chance, hopefully i can see without taking the seats out. 
Yeh the four thick wires hace that marking, and are noticeably thicker than the rest, with a bigger connection on the ends.

The way to determine which loom you need is if you have the little module box under the passenger seat or under both front seats.

Loom #34048 is the 'upto 2006' loom.
#34048-2 is the loom with seat adjustment (no memory), upto 2006

It looks like if you select the 'with memory' option on kufatec, you get the same #34048-2, so you may have extra wires left over for the memory function which are not required.

As retroraz says, this means you should have a control module under each seat.
This is the same loom I fitted and it comes with the wire lengths for left hand drive, and so the drivers and passenger seat modules are the wrong way wrong.
So you either need to extend the wires so that they reach the correct modules, or reverse the wires at the heater control panel.
I extended the wires.

Next up, we need to know:
Does your car have climatronic or climatic heating?
Do your seats have adjustment and or memory. Did you order the loom according to these options?

I'll take so pics..

In the mean time... Without looking at the car (not able to atm), both seats have the large black plug, male, on them, and the only button on both seats are the circle with the four indents. They are manual for back and forward and tilt. But I believe they do have the electric lumbar.

The loom itself seems to be rhd as the female black plugs to go to under the seats work out for length, ie the shorter one on rhs has the resulting earth wires and cecm, at the correct length to go to the earthing point just down from the bonnet release handle and cecm respectively.

Once I get a chance I'll untrim the car again and take a pic of the loom and also have a look at the seats...

And I reckon it's a case of having extra un-needed wires like you say Jason

Here's the pics of the seats, still havnet had a chance to get the trim off the get pics of the loom,  but the bag the loom came in had 34048-2 on it.

1. Both seats have the four button
2. Drivers seat underneath
3. Drivers black male connection
4. Passenger's under seat
5. Passenger's black male connection

Looks like you have a module under each seat and the loom part number looks correct.

So, using the table from the guide, together with the kufatec instructions, and the notes in my previous comment, you should be able to label each wire and see what you're left with?

If there is anything left over, it may be for seat memory which probably won't be on your seats anyway.

So, having another go at this now...

The wires are labelled as per the kufatec table/pic on page 4 of this guide.  My question now is do I need all four 'fuse' wires?  Two 30amp (sitxverstell/seat adjustment) and two 20amp (the Dauerplus)?  ACTAULLY JUST NOTICED - on page 1 of here you mention the lumber being 20amp and live being 30amp, but the kufatec guide has this the other way around!??????????

Also have the 3 15 amp wires for the fuse box!  Where should I put them?

So basically I've got 7 wires to find a home in the fuse box it seems?

Yep! And you reckon that's the fuse rating above? 30 for heat and 20 for lumber?  Makes sense to have the heating at 30 I suppose..

So where to put them all? 

And so yeh, perhaps the longer of the thin wires for the 5A?  The other two thin are a pair.. See pic!...

Yeh they do, they are labelled as per the kufatec picture on page 4. So I know what is what now, just not sure where to put them in the fuse box?

Ok, in the fuse box, look at the positions in my guide, but ultimately you're looking for a slot that has feed. You can tell the difference between one with a feed and a blank one as the one with a feed had a metal connector to accept one leg of the fuse.

The other leg it made by inserting the relevant wire from the heated seat loom which will then make a complete 'socket' for the fuse.

Use a multimeter to test for constant / ignition live, find the ones you need insert the wire from the loom.
