Interior cockpit detailer
« on: March 02, 2013, 05:38:13 pm »
I'm looking for something that cleans, protects, conditions, uv resistant, oem matt finish, smells nice, easy on, streak free and antistatic or at least has most of these features. I've never really been happy with any products I've used and I'm currently using sonus cockpit detailer, which is the best I've used so far but I feel there are better products out there, any suggestions ?

I'm looking at auto finesse spritz at the moment

Any other suggestions ?

Aerospace 303.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

I've got 303 I really just use this for the engine bay, exterior trim and wipers, tbh I found the sonus stuff a little bit Easyer to use than the 303 it seems to require less effort for an even finish.

Just read about the werkstat, it's out of stock as the formula is being revised.

Just noticed on polished bliss its 3 for 2 on auto finesse so I'm going to go for the interior sprits, shampoo and something else ? Since there is an offer on !

The avalanche is meant to be great if you have a snow foam lance?

Ive been looking at the auto finesse stuff on there and think I'm gonna get some citrus power. Seems to be a good pre wash alternative to a snow foam (haven't got a lance so been looking at alternatives).

Ive got valet pro citrus cleaner as an alternative to snow foam, and IMO works a lot better than any foam I've used even when mixed with shampoo for a bit of bite, I've tried mixing the citrus cleaner with the snow foam for more bite but it reduces the foam.

I mix it up and spray it on using a standard spray bottle and blast it off with a hose. I usually use it through winter as it saves me fecking about setting up the karcher and I also feel it cuts through the winter grime a lot better aswell.

Wax friendly too ! I've never used any autofinesse products but the previous owner of my eddy had the full range and it looked brilliant when I picked it up, also cleaning the car with the previous products that were applied has been a dawdle !
So I thought Ill give there products a try !

Auto finesse spritz is what I use, I dont like the finish that the wersstat prot leaves.
As far as the citrus power goes, yes it is good, but the valet pro is just as good, and works out better value asell aswell :happy2:

Citrus Power is excellent - one of my most used products. The 5L is what I go for and top up my existing bottle. Avalanche is also good - for me it isn't too thick which is how I prefer snow foam as the run-off is quicker. Plus it's infused with citrus power so you get the benefit of that.

I also use the AF Spritz for the interior. Nice matt finish and vanilla smell.
