Very nice example  I'm thinking of going down this route next year. Need some vr6 soundtrack in my life. People say that the mk4 has a very 'soft' chassis compared to the mk5.. do you think so?

Cheers. I don't find the chassis soft at all tbh, drove a 1.8t and that was very wallowy feeling.

Regular mk4's are a bit soggy, mk4 R32 definitely isn't  :happy2:

Looks a very nice car... Factory xenons as well
Thanks. All R32s have xenons from the factory as do the Mk5s

I stand corrected... I had a 02 mk4 150 gti diesel that had xenons and in them days that was a very expensive option.

Yes, I had the option as well in my X reg GTi and that was an extremely expensive option back in 2000 - I loved the way with the xenons you get the dual indicators in the lenses

Right so a couple of mini mods today. Black emblems, Mk5 rear wiper,

Is the rear wiper swap for the mk5 arm a straight swap? Does the washer cap need trimming much? I wanna get a mk5 rear wiper for my mk4 estate.

Lovely R BTW  :happy2:

Yeah, straight swap. May need a couple mm trimmed off the lower edge of the cap.
