had my first R-Tech Map
« on: March 06, 2013, 08:54:58 pm »
Had my gti stage 1'd yesterday at R-tech and after driving it all day today I wish I had done it sooner the service is top notch and the results far outweigh those of others, I have driven my mates car with a revo map on and after he drove mine, we both agreed mine drives far superior to his and he's now considering going down to have his done. So in short R-tech have done it again. :happy2:

R-tech really are one of the best tuning companies in country, service is second to none. Having had my old 1.8t remapped there previously I cannot wait to take my 2.0 tfsi gti there so they can work their magic!
Top work nick!

EGTs must be through the roof.

Not if Nicks mapped it  :stupid:

He won't sacrifice component protection for a few extra horses

@OP - it's good to hear the experience of someone who has driven R-Tech and Revo maps  :happy2:

As above, Nick is best in business and would not let a customer drive away with a map that is not spot on.

Lets see the EGTs output from 2-5k at WOT, if the K03 really is making 260bhp / 310lbft with OEM down pipe inc. pre-cat brick wall and 800 cell cat... Then it's either... Not a TFSI but A TSI motor in which case not a K03, Or There is exhaust development, or the figures are to be taken with a pinch of saline.

The pre cat isn't in, the car was producing around 270 but nick brought it back down to bring the EGTs down to a safe level.

We couldn't believe the difference between the 2 to be honest the revo didn't respond anywhere near as well on my friends car with near identical mods. Just the pre cat delete and a neuspeed/k&n.
