Which TYRE?

I need my first change of tyre 225  40 18 for my monzas ,any recommendations please ? Had Yokohama prada on my old wheels not bad .want a tyre for all round use and performance as remapped and mods to 280-300 bhp

I had Conti's before and now have Michelin pilot sport 3's - must say I'll be going back to Conti's for my next set!

Been through loads of different tyre brands on my Monza IIs 18' and without a doubt these are the best!! Goodyear Eagle F1 AS2!! Get them from camskill and save yourself a penny too!

As he says  brilliant tyres in the dry and wet! They get a better wet rating than Uniroyal rainsports..

I just ordered two from Camskill for £102 each (225/40/18) and it allows you to send away for a £10 fuel voucher per tyre C/O Goodyear. Happy days!

Another vote for the Goodyears eagle f1s. They replaced my front Michelin pilot sport 3 and the grip is amazing dare I say it bt considerably better than the ps3 I had

The amount of peeps on here who buy F1 As2's (myself included) we really should be looking at a group discount of some sort.  I'm up for two new fronts in the next month or two.
Perhaps the discount we'd get would be so minimal as to not bother... thoughts?
Camskill have them for £105 ea. + del atm.

Pirelli P-Zero's are awesome (Not Rosso's the standard ones). They were the original fit for my car so stuck with them as they have got me out os some sticky situations on the few occasions I got a little carried away.  

But after spending thousands on Pirelli P-Zero's over the last few years I have been looking into alternatives. If you do a side by side comarison of EVO's tyre test top 5 using online reviews and statistics, there is next f-all in it in terms of performance, price etc.

I am comming up to a full change and my choice will most likely be...

The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymetric 2. It has pretty much the same wet, dry, subjective feel etc as the Pirelli (online info) but a couple of dB quieter and about £1 per corner cheaper (I could nearly buy a gallon of fuel with that!).
I just fancy a change and to see what all the fuss is about.

Will I be able to get Goodyear tyres onto my Pirelli wheels or are they incompatible?

Got a £50 fuel voucher when I bought Michelin rear tyres for the 330D (Offer runs from 1st March to End of April), altho not sure if thats on all Michelin or just RFT's

Oh and use the search function, hundreds of tyres threads all saying the same (everyones own opinions!)

big thumbs up also from me for the Pirelli P Zero's.

soft compound, loads of grip and very good for those with remaps.

They do wear out pretty quickly but that is the trade off for the grip

I need two new tyres, but will probably end up swapping all four so I don't have mixed tyres. At the moment it's just running budgets. The rears are bald and lumpy on the inside...
