Nightmare on F/W updating - HELP Required

I'm currently running 2760 already, tried just moving to 3810a and still all the same issues.

Tried changing clock from 12 to 24 and back and still nothing.

I'm stumped

I have been all over the internet and downloaded a good few F/W versions (4120, 4020, 3810a, 3810, 4020H) and used 3 different computers. And not one works.............. they can't all be bad.

Now I've lost maps too, and no radio 

Under software version it's now blank...............

I had this same problem few weeks ago. I just burned the CD again with my laptop @ 1x speed and worked. Before that burned like 5 CDs with my PC and none of them worked. My RNS-510 is also very selectible between CD brands  Sony worked fine for me.

Well after 9 hours and countless downloading








Even managed to get F/W 5218_Mod on it, but ended up with no sound, so have rolled it back to 3810_Noru, Just having to create a map disc now, as the installs wiped out the maps


So out of 15 Discs, and 4 different web sites for downloading and 3 different pc's/laptops, I have so far managed to create 2 working discs ( F/W 3810A_Noru & F/W 5218_Mod )


I'm going to try and get to F/W 4120, as I really fancy Radio Text ( Sad I know )


I can only imagine this is why so many RNS510's are not updated, because it is a complete arse ache.
