£99 for 8 laps / 1 day sounds reasonable value. I got quoted £350 for one weekend but fully comp.

35euros and only has to be done once - I guess it needs to be proven it is up to the standards of the German MOT equivalent to ensure it's road legal, and therefore insurable.

....No problem with that - I think that's absolutely fair and justifiable.

It would be useful to see a list of approved garages to know their location and then plan into a trip to The Ring.
