right,ive been doin a bit of research and as far as i can make out i need to get one of these connect 2 connector kits
whip out my head unit (rcd300) connect the connect2 kit into the 6disck changer port chuck stereo back in run cable to glovebox/arm rest.
connect ipod classic and enjoy the tunes.all in laymans term obiously.

could anybody fill me in if theres anything else i need/to do

I just fitted on of these about 1 hour ago. I followed a video on YouTube.

Just have to attach the ground cable to one of the screws at the back of the head unit.

Obviously test before you put all the trim back on.

My cable comes through the glovebox.

You might have to buy a longer RCA to 3.5mm jack as the one in the kit is very short.

 :drinking: chers mate, mine arrived yesterday.just need to wait for my trim removal tools to arrive and jobs a goodun.

Couldnt wait any longer ha ha.used a butter knife to remove trim safely.toook about 30 mins all together. Now has ipood
