Honestly I'd say one of the best out there.
I've tried these intakes
Itg maxogen
Forge twintake
Neuspeed pflow
Carbonio
Bsh true seal
For me its the best and easiest to live with.
It's pretty silent in the car but makes noise outside the car giving all the usual intake noises.
It's the best of both worlds really as if you want it quiet keep it inside the air scoop or if you want the noise don't fit the air scoop or not the top part.
I noticed an increase in low down performance compared to the twintake it replaced. So many intakes spoil that low down torque.
This isn't the case with the BCS kit.

If all your bothered about is some chavy chatter than get an ITG (open one) or an Evoms.

The evoms is louder than the ITG, I'd of bought the evoms over the ITG if evoms used the correct MAF scaleing, that's the only thing that worried me about the evoms.

Nothing wrong with the MAF scaling on the EVOMS.

I was under the impression that the evoms used a 2.75 " ID tube for the MAF housing
And the stock tube was a calculated 2.55" ID when the ovalness is taken in to consideration.
Back in early 2010 when I bought the ITG maxogen (just out at the time) and I went to get my giac map upgraded to extreme, the giac dealer told me I should of went for the VF or EVOMS due to scaling.

just to re open this can of worms, i could be hellishly wrong but the cha cha cha is waste-gate chatter inst it? sounds very different to recirculating dump valve?

i have a ibiza cupra before my gti and i had a k and n filter, 007p, turbo intake a k03s and a remap that thing used to make sooo much noise i loved it and i want it back to be honest but dont know which is the best way to go here...

i prefer the chatter but that requires a external wastegate doesnt it? so all im going to get relatively cheaply is dump valve noise coming through the intake and the turbo intake pipe with give me the spooling noise...

iv decided to do a bit of research as today i saw a very crappy looking gti with a very chavy atmospheric dump valve which did nothing but make me cringe :(

I have the EVOMS and dont get any chavy sound. doesnt even seems loud to me..

The chatter sound i believe comes from the wastegate, not the intake pipe
